Helping Children Heal and Grow Through Play Therapy
At The Samaritan Center, we believe that children communicate and process emotions differently than adults—often through play rather than words. Our therapists have specialized training in Play Therapy, and several are certified as Registered Play Therapists (RPTs)—a national credential that reflects advanced education, experience, and supervision in the use of play-based therapeutic techniques.

A trained play therapist carefully observes and engages with the child in a way that fosters trust and healing—whether the child is dealing with anxiety, trauma, grief, social struggles, or other life challenges.
